MEET OUR TEACHERS

DEB PLUYM

Deb is truly wonderful teacher who cares deeply about all her students. Every lesson is fun, and I come out feeling lighter even if I entered the lesson exhausted or had a terrible day… I cannot encourage you enough to go see Deb!” Leah

Deb Pluym is a devoted singing teacher who has a bachelors in teaching and more than 25 years of singing and performing experience. She has sung as a soloist, conducted choirs and lead musical teams in different settings.

Deb’s passion is to help provide safe spaces for people to find their voice. She operates out of the ethos that singing is an inclusive experience, not just something for the lucky few. She believes everyone can discover their voice, no matter what age or level of experience. There is space here for you!

Besides Deb’s teaching and training experience, she is also a passionate songwriter who offers her students a chance to develop their own songwriting skills.

With her team, she provides opportunities for students to meet each other and perform in fun and inspiring community settings.  For those that want to keep growing musically, there are all sorts of different next steps she has lined up.

Finally, Deb is a fan of supporting local community and is committed to fostering a culture of being generous with what you have. Open mic night’s profits go to local charities, and the Everyone Can Sing community is often involved in bringing joy to those less fortunate, like singing in nursing homes every year.

We’d love for you to be involved! Drop Deb a line on voice@everyonecansing.com.au if you are interested.
